Welcome Home: A message from Dipak Kumar and Help2Live to Indians in Cyprus

Welcome Home! You Are Among Family!
Thousands of miles from India, on an island in the Mediterranean, there is a place that feels like home. Welcome to Indians in Cyprus.
Whether you arrived last week or have lived here for twenty years, whether you're a student, a professional, a business owner or a family putting down new roots, this website is for you.
This is where our community comes together: news that matters to us, updates you can rely on, and events that bring us closer, from Diwali and Ganesh Utsav to film screenings, cultural celebrations and chances to give back to the island we now call home.
Explore it, share it and make it yours. The more of us who are here, the stronger we are.
AÂ Message from Our Founder
Dear Friends,
When I first came to Cyprus, I learned two things quickly. Cypriots open their hearts to strangers, and Indians carry home with them wherever they go.
Help2Live was born from both of those truths. We believe that belonging is not about where you were born. It's about who stands beside you. For fifteen years, we have tried to stand beside people who needed it: Cypriot families in hard times, patients in hospital, refugees, churches, and our own Indian community as it grows and celebrates here.
Indians in Cyprus is the next step. It's one place where every Indian on this island can find their community, stay informed and feel less far from home. I invite you to join us, take part and bring your ideas. This platform belongs to all of us.
With warmth and gratitude,
Dipak Kumar

About Help2Live: What We Stand For
Help2Live is a charity foundation founded and funded entirely by Dipak Kumar. It was built on one simple belief:
"We may not always be able to change how long life is. But we can change how it feels."
We stand for compassion without borders, gratitude to the country that welcomed us, and pride in the culture we carry.
What We Have Done, and Continue to Do
Happiness Heals: healthcare
At the German Oncology Centre, now the German Medical Institute, Help2Live built a rooftop garden. Cancer patients now sit there with their families, looking out at the sea and forgetting their pain for a while. We may not be able to give patients more days, but we can give them happiness in the days they have.
Standing with those who protect Cyprus
For several years, we have helped the families of deceased Cyprus Police officers meet their day-to-day needs. This work was recognised by the then Chief of Police, Stelios Papatheodorou.
When the world stood still, we kept moving
During the pandemic, we delivered groceries, medicines and whatever else people needed. The President of the Republic personally recognised this work, in writing and in person, several times.
Faith, tradition and giving
For fifteen years, Help2Live has supported monasteries and churches across Cyprus throughout the year, especially at Christmas and Easter. One Christmas, that support helped 25 families through a single church. We also financed and helped organise the first-ever exhibition in Warsaw on Customs of Dodekameron: the Holy 12 Days in Cyprus, together with the Cyprus Police and the Church of Cyprus. His Beatitude the Archbishop has recognised this work more than once.
Standing with our refugee friends
We have sponsored sports events of Anorthosis, the club that keeps the memory of Famagusta alive for our Cypriot refugee friends. We also took part in discussions with UNFICYP so that refugees from Famagusta could set foot in their home town for the club's centenary celebrations.
Sport and community
Help2Live has sponsored football, volleyball, marathons and other sporting events, as well as the event for the launch of United Rescue Cyprus.

Two Cultures. One Heart. One Community.
Help2Live has always been about one idea: nobody should feel alone, whether they're in a hospital bed, a refugee far from their home town, or an Indian far from theirs. Indians in Cyprus carries that idea forward. Welcome home.
